Job summary

Collage Rehabilitation Partners seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered care in McKinney and surrounding areas on a part-time basis. Treatments take place in patients' homes and communities, guided by an interdisciplinary team focused on functional outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and state licensure required; professional certification/Master's preferred
• Experience in neurologically related disorders strongly preferred
• Excellent planning, organization, writing and time management skills required
• Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers is a must

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat impairments including upper extremity function, ADLs/IADLs, visual and perceptual skills, cognitive needs, adaptive equipment needs, and assistive technology needs
• Develop integrated treatment plans in patients' homes and communities with an interdisciplinary team
• Document progress and adjust interventions to support durable functional outcomes

Our interdisciplinary teams create integrated treatment plans that are practiced in patients' homes and communities. Our therapists are creative in their approach and incorporate a variety of activities to ignite interest while addressing functional goals. This evidence-based approach results in durable outcomes.
