Job Overview

Occupational Therapist at Queen of the Valley Medical Center. Full time, 8‑hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapist will conduct patient assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, provide education and communication, and demonstrate leadership to meet the needs of patients, caregivers, and the community. The role includes fostering professional relationships among interdisciplinary providers and intradepartmental staff, collaborating with ancillary clinicians to ensure optimal continuum of care, and performing all duties under general supervision.

Required Qualifications

• Education that meets certification, license or registration requirements.
• Upon hire: California Occupational Therapist License.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications

• Upon hire: OTAC membership.
• Experience delivering Rehabilitation Services in a variety of settings.
