Job summary

TheraDynamics, a therapist-owned outpatient clinic, seeks an Occupational Therapist in New York. You will assess patients, design evidence-based treatment plans, and guide rehabilitation to restore function. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a clinic setting.

The role requires a valid OT license and a degree in OT; CPR is preferred, with strong organization and written communication skills essential. This position is based on site in NY.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid state Occupational Therapy license.
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree from an accredited OT program.
• CPR certification preferred; strong organizational and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs.
• Offer cost-effective treatments to improve motion and mobility.
• Reduce the need for medications and provide non-surgical options.
• Develop care plans using various treatment techniques.
• Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients’ needs.
• Provide quality, personalized, evidence-based care and interventions.
• Motivate patients during treatment to maximize function.
• Promote healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance and coordination.
• Consult and collaborate with other health professionals.
• Evaluate effects, monitor progress, and document patient care services.

Education

Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy

Valid State OT License

CPR Certification (Preferred)
