Job summary

W3Global is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a collaborative outpatient orthopedic team in New Jersey. You will evaluate patients across ages, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide interventions to improve function and independence.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient education, and coordinated care with a multidisciplinary team of PTs, chiropractors, and physicians. Licensure in NJ and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active New Jersey Occupational Therapist License.
• Current CPR Certification.
• 3-6 years of outpatient orthopedic or rehabilitation experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive OT evaluations to identify functional limitations, needs, and goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient conditions, functional abilities, and outcomes.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve strength, mobility, and daily function.
• Monitor progress and modify plans based on clinical outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding home programs and injury prevention.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records.

One of our clients is seeking a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join their dynamic, supportive, and collaborative multi-disciplinary orthopedic outpatient team. The role provides an excellent opportunity to work with patients across various age groups while helping them improve independence, mobility, function, and quality of life.

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to identify patients' functional limitations, needs, and goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient conditions, functional abilities, and desired outcomes.
• Provide therapeutic interventions, exercises, activities, and techniques to improve strength, mobility, coordination, and daily function.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical outcomes.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, chiropractors, medical doctors, acupuncturists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, home programs, condition management, and injury prevention.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records.
• Stay current with evidence-based practices, research, and advancements in occupational therapy.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining professional and ethical standards.

What We're Looking For

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active New Jersey Occupational Therapist License.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Preferred: Male candidate.
• 3-6 years of experience, preferably in an outpatient orthopedic or rehabilitation setting.
• Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and patient communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.
