CVHCare, a leader in Home Health Clinical services, seeks Occupational Therapists (OT) in California for a per diem program covering Area #43 including Canyon Country, Castaic, Newhall, Saugus, Stevenson Ranch, Valencia and Santa Clarita. This role offers six visits per week and a non-remote schedule.

Responsibilities include training patients and caregivers in daily living activities and advocating holistic health. Requires CA OT license and CPR/BLS; benefits and PTO available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Occupational Therapy experience desired or open to entry level
• Valid California Occupational Therapist license
• CPR/BLS Certification (Required)
• Reliable Transportation

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide OT services to improve daily living activities.
• Train patients and caregivers in self-care tasks like grooming, dressing, toileting, and bathing.
• Support home health goals and community reintegration, including leisure activities.

Title:Occupational Therapist
Schedule: Per Diem (6 visits p/week)Location: Area #43covering the cities of Canyon Country, Castaic, Newhall, Saugus, Stevenson Ranch, Valencia and Santa Clarita

Position Summary:Occupational therapy focuses on specific daily activities and movements. Utilizing the common items at home or special adaptive equipment, the OT will train the patient or caregiver in activities such as self-grooming, dressing, toileting and bathing. There are also advanced activities such as cooking, housekeeping, laundry and shopping that the OT is particularly geared toward. In addition to the above, the occupational therapy team focuses on community re-integration, as well as introducing patients to leisure-type activities that provide a holistic approach to treating health and wellness.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year Occupational Therapy experience desired
• Open to entry level or candidates with no prior home health experience
• Valid California Occupational Therapist license
• Reliable Transportation
• CPR/BLS Certification
