Job summary

SPEECHCOM, INC in the Corona Norco area of California is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our school-based support team. This full-time, in-person role serves TK-12th grade students and offers a meaningful opportunity to grow while making a real impact.

You will conduct student assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility and daily living skills, and collaborate with teachers and families to support discharge

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active California OT license.
• Strong verbal and written communication with students, teachers and families.
• Proficient with IEP documentation and email.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive student assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with other service providers for discharge planning and continuity of care.
• Educate parents and families on treatment goals.
• Document progress and adjust care plans as needs evolve.
• Provide support for students with disabilities and early intervention.

Position Highlights

• Rate of Pay: $64-70 per hour W2 (depending on experience)
• Immediate start through end of school year
• Full-Time: 40 Hours per Week; 5 days per week, grades TK-12th
• In-person Assignment

What YOU Need

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active License in Occupational Therapy (State of California)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and families.
• Must possess sufficient technology skills to complete IEP documentation and communicate effectively via email.
