Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc. is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide school-based OT services in the Town of Islip, NY. The role includes evaluating and progressing students, delivering OT services per IEPs, and collaborating with families and educators to support each child’s goals.

• Initial registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Valid and unencumbered OT license as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services to children in the school setting.
• Perform evaluations and assessments and track child progress.
• Deliver OT services as mandated in the IEP.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators and other professionals to support child goals.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.
