Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 13-week travel assignment in Mound City, MO. The role requires an OT license, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of OT experience.

Flexible 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, with start times before 6 AM and no later than 10 AM. Pay includes an hourly rate of $28.00 plus a non-taxed stipend of $1,246 per week. Weekly pay totals about $2,086, with potential for extensions and dedicated recruiter support

Key Responsibilities

• Effectively screens/evaluates patients and/ with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders and develops appropriate plan of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards.
• Utilizes standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Administers various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan including but not limited to: ADL retraining; therapeutic activities; therapeutic exercises; modalities; use of supportive and assistive devices; etc.
• Assesses patient’s progress and adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Evaluates treatment outcomes for effectiveness. Services are modified in relation to patient evaluation and referrals are made in relation to outcomes.
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to the physical disorders.
• Effectively communicates with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.
• Provides comprehensive discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.
• Documents all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system and maintains patient records according to company policy.
• Accurately records treatment minutes for services provided per all regulatory and clinical requirements.
• Participation in required meetings including but not limited to: patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, rehabilitation meetings, etc.
• Participate in facility and company required trainings, in-services and conferences.'s?
• Able to obtain any necessary DME or supplies per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Able to supervise and support occupational therapist assistants; rehabilitation aides and/or students.
• Adherence to NBCOT /AOTA and State Required practice acts, code of conduct, ethics during professional practice as an Occupational

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 1 years of OT experience
• Must have LTC or Rehab Experience
• Must have OT license
• Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
• Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills , professionalism, and reliability
• Must be able to work independently/hit the ground running
• Able to adapt to stressful situations quickly and effectively
• Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.
