Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services' Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation unit seeks an Occupational Therapist to join our Home & Community Program, delivering OT services in patients' homes and local communities across Washington.

You will perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, re‑assess progress, and collaborate with PTs, SLPs, and LCSWs to support return‑to‑work and daily living activities; the role is PRN, W2, with flexible scheduling and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted OT license in state of practice.
• Current CPR Certification.
• At least 1 year of OT work experience.
• Knowledge of rehab techniques for neurological conditions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly reassess treatment effectiveness and participate in staffing/family conferences.
• Discharge evaluations with home/community safety recommendations.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care.

Overview

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is searching for occupational therapists to join our Home & Community Program. Our model brings outpatient experience into the home and community, helping clients regain independence in meaningful, real‑world ways.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide functional OT in natural environments
• Support returntowork, returntodriving, and daily life skills
• Work collaboratively with PTs, SLPs, and LCSWs

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Regularly re‑assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences
• Perform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources
• Communicate patient's needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services and family members
• Communicates with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice
• Current CPR Certification
• A minimum of one year's work experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses (preferred)
• Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interaction
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Moving, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety procedures
• Duties require fine motor skills, visual acuity, and walking/standing for extended periods
• Additional physical requirements include pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at times

Salary Range

USD $50.00 – $55.00 / Hour
