Job summary

CommuniCare Rehab is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a PRN role at Sellersburg Healthcare Center. The OT will work as an in-house team member to assess residents, develop and implement treatment plans, supervise COTAs, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehab team.

The position offers schedule flexibility and opportunities across multiple locations in the CommuniCare family. The qualified candidate will hold a Bachelors or Masters in OT and an active or pending state OT

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in OT from an accredited program.
• Valid or pending OT license in the state.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient’s/resident’s OT evaluation under physician order and develop a treatment plan.
• Implement treatment plan through direct treatment and educate staff involved in the plan.
• Provide supervision for COTAs.
• Attend/interdisciplinary meetings to relay clinical findings and make recommendations to rehab team and family.
• Opportunity to treat at multiple locations to serve diverse resident needs.

Qualifications/Must Have’s:

• A Bachelor’s, Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an Accredited Program.
• Hold a valid or pending State Occupational Therapy License

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
