Job summary

Vibra Healthcare’s Rehabilitation and Critical Care Hospital of the Black Hills in Rapid City seeks a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our team. You will provide and direct OT services, perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress per physician orders in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

The role requires OT degree, active NBCOT, SD license, and current BLS. Experience preferred; strong regulatory knowledge and computer skills are a plus as you support patient independence

Qualifications

• OT degree required (B.S. in OT accepted, M.S. preferred).
• NBCOT certification and active state license required.
• Current BLS certification from Vibra-approved vendor required.
• Strong understanding of regulatory standards and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and direct Occupational Therapy services including assessment, treatment planning, and documentation.
• Operate under physician orders and collaborate with the care team.
• Maintain up-to-date patient records and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing and directing Occupational Therapy Services to patients including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation and communication. Functions under physician’s orders.

Required Skills

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy where accepted.
• Masters Degree required otherwise.
• NBCOT registered and licensed per state of practice requirements.
• Current, valid, and active registration or license per state requirements in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• One (1) year of experience preferred. Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
