Job summary

Dignity Health East Valley Rehabilitation Hospital in Gilbert is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy to restore daily living skills. You will document progress, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and educate patients and families on adaptive techniques.

The role requires a OT degree, state licensure, and BLS within 30 days of hire, with IRF experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• State Licensure for Occupational Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• IRF experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a high-stress environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance patients’ daily living skills.
• Document treatment sessions and patient progress accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and families on care planning.

• Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Strong interpersonal and documentation skills required.
• Familiarity with rehab documentation systems preferred.

What we’re looking for

Dynamic and energetic Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide occupational therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover and maintain occupational skills. Having critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required
• State Licensure for Occupational Therapy
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
• IRF experience preferred
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
