Job summary

MedCare Pediatric is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to deliver one-on-one therapy in home, school, and child care settings across Greater Houston and surrounding areas. You will design individualized plans, work with families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

We offer flexible scheduling (Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN), a supportive clinical team, and a sign-on bonus to new hires.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license by anticipated start date.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Previous experience supervising COTAs is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services in accordance with physician-approved Plans of Care.
• Address functional skills including fine motor development, sensory processing, coordination, strength, range of motion, self-care, visual-motor integration, behavioral regulation, and activities of daily living.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate and train families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
