Role Overview:

Responsible for coordinating and delivering occupational therapy services, focusing on patient conditions and health diagnoses. Develops and implements individualized treatment programs for diverse patient groups, evaluating progress through data collection and ongoing assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designs and modifies treatment plans based on patient evaluations and progress.
• Provides direct therapy using various strategies and settings aligned with patient capabilities.
• Coordinates therapy within the broader medical and rehabilitation care plans.
• Prepares documentation including evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and team members regarding patient needs and progress.
• Establishes rapport and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams.
• Participates in professional development, educational programs, and departmental program development.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Active occupational therapy license in the practicing state.
• Preferred 1-3 years of clinical patient care experience.
• Excellent communication, visual acuity, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to safety standards and regulations.
