Evolve Therapy Services in Florida is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility. This full-time, part-time, or PRN role offers flexible scheduling and the chance to contribute to high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities include screening residents, developing treatment plans, communicating findings to residents and families, coordinating therapy schedules, ensuring proper documentation and billing, supervising COTA, and pursuing ongoing professional

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active OT license in practicing state(s)
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure

Responsabilités

• Screen residents to determine best intervention or treatment for each patient
• Evaluate residents and develop treatment plans with short- and long-term goals
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings and plans to residents, families/caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules with team members
• Conduct therapy per treatment plan and ensure documentation and billing of OT services
• Perform other duties as assigned to effectively treat patients
• Oversee COTA as needed and ensure documentation and treatment quality and reimbursement practices

Job Position: Occupational Therapist for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility

Job Type: Full Time (Flexible Schedule!), Part Time, or PRN

Job Purpose: To plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be directed by Administrator, to ensure that highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

Job Functions:

• Conduct regular screening of residents to figure out the best intervention or treatment for each individual patient
• Evaluate residents to inform and develop treatment plans; establish short- and long-term goals and methods to achieve goals
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members
• Conduct therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services
• Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively treat patients
• Oversee COTA as needed and ensure all documentation and treatments are carried out with clinical excellence and proper reimbursement practices are being followed

Education & Qualifications:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• MUST have an Active Occupational Therapy license in practicing state(s)
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
