Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients to determine rehabilitation needs and develop care plans
• Implement and develop the Plan of Care, ensuring quality and continuity of care
• Communicate significant findings to team members and physicians
• Plan for patient safety using available resources
• Verify and follow the Plan of Care, providing care according to physician orders and standards
• Document therapy notes, including patient care goals
• Perform occupational therapy services per standards and physician approval
• Instruct patients and families in activities of daily living and adaptive equipment use
• Assist in securing necessary equipment, including custom splints
• Provide therapy home programs and modify as needed
• Counsel and instruct patients and families
• Supervise and direct clinical staff to ensure quality of care

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current, unrestricted OT license for the state of work
• Minimum one year of clinical experience
• Willingness to travel within the coverage area (50%)
• Dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, auto insurance
• Ability to lift 50-100 lbs and perform physical tasks

You will report to the Branch Director, Clinical Manager, or Supervisor.
