Theracare is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist to deliver exemplary care in Home Health for the Huntington area. This PRN, part-time role focuses on adult patients, evaluating and treating to restore function and reduce pain in a patient-centered team environment.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy or higher, current OT registration (OTR), and strong communication skills.

• Minimum 1 year of rehabilitation experience preferred; new graduates are welcome.
• Excellent oral and written communication and strong interpersonal skills.

Theracare is currently seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist to deliver exemplary care and enthusiasm in working with our adult population in the Home Health Care settings. This is a PRN position primarily for the Huntington area.

Easy access to local Regional Management Staff for support

The Occupational Therapist would evaluate and treat patients, in accordance with the orders from the physician, through the use of a variety of therapeutic procedures designed to restore loss of muscle strength, coordination, body alignment, to relieve pain, improve movement and function. The Occupational Therapist Will work as a member of a team providing support and information within the area of Occupational Therapy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Occupational Therapy

Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board

Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation

Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
