Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients to determine needs and develop care plans
• Implement and develop the Plan of Care, ensuring quality and proper discharge planning
• Communicate significant findings and changes to team members and physicians
• Plan for patient safety using available resources
• Verify and follow the Plan of Care, document therapy notes
• Provide occupational therapy services per standards and physician instructions
• Instruct patients and families on activities of daily living and adaptive equipment
• Assist in securing necessary equipment, including custom splints
• Instruct and modify home therapy programs
• Counsel patients and families
• Supervise and direct clinical staff to ensure quality care

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current, unrestricted OT license for the state of work
• Minimum one year of clinical experience
• Willing to travel within the coverage area
• Dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
• Ability to travel 50%
• Physical ability to handle, lift, and transfer patients (50-100 lbs)

You will report to the Branch Director or designee.
