Job summary

All Care Therapies is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) for a Home Health role. You will deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to pediatric patients in their homes, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and families to implement plans of care.

Qualifications

• Must have OT degree from an accredited program.
• Current NV OT license or ability to apply.
• CPR certification and valid driver’s license required.
• At least 1 year pediatric OT experience preferred.
• Commitment to ongoing continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pediatric home assessments and evaluations to determine patient condition, history, and goals.
• Create and update treatment plans, measure strength and flexibility.
• Collaborate with physicians, families, nurses, therapists, and care team members.
• Demonstrate pediatric-focused exercises to improve daily activities and reduce pain.
• Educate families on care strategies and home adaptations.
• Document patient progress and prepare reports for providers and insurers.
• Complete clinical notes timely using the EMR system.
• Participate in meetings to coordinate comprehensive care plans.

Job Description

All Care Therapies iscurrently seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in a Home Health setting! We are looking for a clinician to deliver compassionate care to our pediatric patients, contribute to the multidisciplinary team, and collaborate with families to deliver a plan of care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pediatric patient assessments and evaluations in their homes to determine their physical condition, limitations, medical histories, and personal goals
• Create and update treatment plans, testing and measuring patient’s strength and flexibility
• Confer with physicians, patients and their families, nurses, therapists, social workers, and other members of a patient's care team
• Demonstrate exercises that can help pediatric patients better perform everyday tasks and relieve pain
• Educate a pediatric patient’s family about how to help care for and accommodate them
• Assess pediatric patient's progress against goals and prepare reports for healthcare providers and insurance agencies
• Complete all clinical notes in a timely manner using the company’s EMR system
• Contribute to meetings and case conferences to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care plans for patients
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulation

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current and unrestricted NV Occupational Therapy license; or ability to apply
• At least one year of experience as a pediatric occupational therapist is preferred
• Continued education requirements maintained
• Current CPR certification
• Current state drivers license and auto insurance
