Part Time or Per Diem Available

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist, OT for a part-time or per diem role performing home health visits in Pinellas County, FL. The position is based in Clearwater, FL.

Coverage area: Central to southern Pinellas County primarily; must be open to full county as needed.

Qualifications:

• Prior home health experience required.
• A current FL Occupational Therapist license.
• Minimum of one year recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities include:

• Making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Performing evaluations of patients’ functional status.
• Assessing cognitive, psychological, and motor performance; developing intervention plans.
• Evaluating home environments for hazards.
• Identifying equipment needs and environmental adaptations.
• Revising care plans and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Educating patients and family members.
• Documenting observations, interventions, and evaluations using electronic tablets.
