Briotix Health is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to provide onsite workers’ compensation and workplace health services at a client location in Everett, WA. This role emphasizes individualized treatment planning, ergonomic guidance, and return-to-work support within a collaborative team environment.

You will assess function, develop goals, educate employees, and coordinate with care teams to improve function and reduce injury risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy.
• Current certification in CPR / BLS for health care providers.
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience.
• Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite Occupational Therapy services at one client location in Everett, WA.
• Evaluate employees’ functional abilities, work demands, and barriers affecting safe and effective job performance.
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans focused on restoring function and safe return to work.
• Review physician referrals, medical records, and job requirements to determine interventions.
• Perform initial evaluations to identify functional limitations and establish treatment goals.
• Assess tasks, body mechanics, and work environment factors affecting function.
• Collaborate with patients and stakeholders to implement return-to-work plans.
• Educate patients on proposed interventions, goals, and strategies to reduce reinjury risk.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and modify interventions as needed.
• Document measurable goals and progress; plan for reevaluation.
• Provide interventions to improve strength, mobility, endurance, and job performance.
• Recommend adaptive strategies and ergonomic modifications for safe work.
• Assist with transitional duties and return-to-work processes.
• Educate Working Athletes on ergonomics and workplace health.
• Maintain knowledge of workers’ compensation regulations and OT standards.
• Deliver education and training on ergonomics, injury prevention, and workplace health.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st shift, with onsite hours scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Schedule Flexibility: This full-time position offers a 30-hour workweek with the flexibility to structure those hours across 3–5 days per week, based on candidate preference and client coverage needs. Whether you prefer fewer, longer days or a more traditional five-day schedule, we are open to finding an arrangement that supports both you and the client.

Salary: $93,500 annually**

Onsite hours and scheduling may vary based on contractual client expectations.

Position Overview:

Briotix Health is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist. A day in the life of a Briotix Health provider includes using your clinical knowledge, functional assessment skills, and strong relationship-building abilities to provide independent, one-on-one workers’ compensation treatment and workplace health services to the employees of our clients.

This position provides individualized services to patients and Briotix Health clients, including occupational therapy treatment, job coaching, return-to-work support, ergonomic guidance, and Early Discomfort Management (EDM) services.

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for partnering with patients, client stakeholders, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment and workplace-health strategies designed to improve function, support safe return to work, reduce barriers to job performance, and contribute to a healthier and more productive workforce.

Job Duties

• Provide onsite Occupational Therapy services at one client location in Everett, WA
• Evaluate employees’ functional abilities, work demands, and barriers affecting safe and effective job performance.
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans focused on restoring function, improving participation in work activities, reducing discomfort, and supporting safe return to work.
• Review physician referrals, medical records, job requirements, and other relevant information to determine appropriate occupational therapy interventions.
• Perform and document initial evaluations to identify functional limitations, establish an occupational therapy diagnosis, and determine appropriate treatment goals and interventions.
• Assess job tasks, body mechanics, workstations, tools, and environmental factors that may affect employee function or contribute to discomfort.
• Collaborate with patients, medical providers, client stakeholders, and other appropriate parties to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment and return-to-work plans.
• Educate patients regarding proposed interventions, treatment goals, expected outcomes, and strategies to improve function and reduce risk of reinjury.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness throughout the course of care and modify interventions as needed to maximize functional outcomes.
• Establish and document measurable treatment goals, anticipated progress, and plans for reevaluation.
• Provide therapeutic interventions designed to improve functional performance, strength, mobility, endurance, coordination, body mechanics, and the ability to safely perform essential work tasks.
• Recommend and educate employees on adaptive strategies, ergonomic modifications, activity modification, and other techniques that support safe and effective job performance.
• Provide onsite management of work-related discomforts and injuries within the Occupational Therapist’s scope of practice.

• Act as an educator and advocate for the Working Athletes at assigned client locations.
• Maintain current knowledge of workers’ compensation regulations, occupational therapy standards, and applicable treatment protocols.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and deliver customized education and training related to ergonomics, injury prevention, body mechanics, functional performance, and workplace health.
• Build collaborative relationships with client leadership, employees, medical providers, and other stakeholders to support successful treatment and workplace-health outcomes.
