Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Beaumont is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to care for a diverse patient population and to develop individualized treatment plans. The OT will provide direct patient care and help advance OT services within the PAM Health System, with flexibility to support multiple facilities as needed.

Requirements include Texas OT licensure and current BLS certification; inpatient hospital experience is preferred or a strong desire to learn.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT in the state of residence (Texas).
• Current BLS certification required.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with age-appropriate treatment plans.
• Plan and implement OT treatment programs and contribute to service development.
• Be flexible to meet system needs across facilities.

The Occupational Therapist will be primarily responsible for direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs in an age appropriate manner for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy in the PAM Health System. The Occupational Therapist will additionally be involved in the further development of the services. The Occupational Therapist must be flexible to meet the needs of the System within many different facilities. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

• Education and Training: Licensed as OT in the state where the hospital or clinic resides. Current BLS certification required.
• Experience: One (1) year of clinical experience preferred.
