Job summary

Soliant Health is partnering with a supportive school district near Belen, New Mexico to place a passionate Occupational Therapist for the upcoming school year. This onsite role serves K–12 students with diverse developmental needs and collaborates with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to make a measurable difference in student outcomes.

The role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
• Active State OT license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct occupational therapy services and monitor student progress
• Support students with fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement effective classroom strategies and accommodations
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning

Position Overview

• Full-time and part-time opportunities available

• Caseload: K–12 students with a variety of developmental and functional needs
• Opportunity to work alongside educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits

• Weekly pay ($50-$55 /hr)
