Job summary

Rehab Without Walls® Neuro Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support neurological rehab across real-life environments—home and community. You’ll evaluate, plan, and adjust treatment while helping individuals regain independence through evidence-based care.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, re-assessing plans, and coordinating with families and the treatment team. A bachelor’s in OT, active license, CPR, and 1+ year experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Current, unrestricted OT license in state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least 1 year of OT experience.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings, and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources.
• Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physicians, people receiving services, and family members.
• Communicate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care, and enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
• Current CPR Certification.
• At least one year of work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Demonstrated knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses preferred.
• Effective and professional communication skills in verbal and written interactions.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; transfer patients up to 100 pounds following safety procedures.
• Fine motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to walk/stand for extended periods.
• Physical tasks such as pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at times.
• Requirement to pass a health screen or examination prior to assignment and periodically thereafter.

Salary Range

USD $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 / Year
