Job summary

Powerback Pediatrics in the Greater Chicago area is seeking an Occupational Therapist to serve infants and toddlers from birth to age three in natural environments. You will evaluate progress, update IFSPs, and schedule and deliver targeted interventions.

Applicants should have an ACOTE-accredited OT program, NBCOT certification, and an active OT license, with strong communication and leadership skills for collaborating with families and the clinical team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program.
• Initial NBCOT certification and valid OT license required.
• Early Intervention credential preferred or obtainable.
• Strong communication and leadership with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to children from birth to three years.
• Perform evaluations and updates to the IFSP as needed.
• Set treatment schedules and deliver services per IFSP mandates.
• Educate families and caregivers to support ongoing development.

Responsibilities

• Provides occupational therapy services to children aged birth to three.
• Performs evaluations and assessments and makes updates to the IFSP.
• Establishes treatment schedule and delivers services as mandated in the IFSP.
• Participates in family and caregiver education.

Qualifications

• They must have a Bachelor’s degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
• They must have initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• The Occupational Therapist must hold a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.
• Early Intervention Temporary or Full Credential.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective leadership and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to exercise mature judgment with initiative in analyzing and solving problems.
• Treats all clients with dignity, compassion, empathy and respect.
• Proven track record with high volume workloads.

Posted Salary Range

• USD $52.00 - USD $56.00 /Hr.
