Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in Yuba City, CA, is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our therapist-led team in a long-term care setting. Compensation ranges from $55 to $60 per hour DOE, with flexible schedules and full-time benefits.

The role involves patient assessment, individualized treatment planning, and collaboration with families to improve daily activities and outcomes in diverse settings.

Qualifications

• OT degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or license eligible.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills; proficient in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Patient assessment: Evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
• Treatment and education: Create personalized treatment plans and educate clients and their families on improving daily activities, including the use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Advocacy and support: Advocate for clients' needs and support them in accessing community resources, services, and accommodations.
