Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in Millbrook, NY is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist for our assisted living community. Therapies are offered M-F with no evenings or weekends, focusing on patient-centered care and collaborative outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or license eligible.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
• Treatment and Education: Create personalized treatment plans and educate clients and families on improving daily activities.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with standards.
• Advocacy and Support: Help clients access community resources and accommodations.
