The Woods at Sparta in Sparta, GA is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to help residents regain independence and improve quality of life through personalized therapy plans. You will work with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, and you will educate families while documenting progress and adjusting strategies as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Proven experience in a clinical setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional skills.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve daily living skills and promote overall health.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Participate in patient care meetings and contribute to team discussions on best practices and treatment outcomes.
