Journey Healthcare in Sparta, GA seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence and improve quality of life through personalized therapy programs. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care in a community-focused setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Occupational Therapy, state licensure or eligibility, and strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and families.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Proven experience in a clinical setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional skills.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve daily living skills and promote overall health.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Participate in patient care meetings and contribute to team discussions on best practices and treatment outcomes.
