Job summary

Albuquerque Heights HC and Rehab is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to assess patients, design recovery plans, and deliver OT services in an in-facility setting. You’ll help patients restore independence and work as part of a collaborative rehab team.

Qualifications include ACOTE-accredited OT education, NBCOT registration, and an active OT license. A $10,000 bonus is offered, with a competitive hourly pay range and growth opportunities within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program.
• Initial NBCOT registration.
• Valid state occupational therapy license.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop recovery plans through occupational therapy.
• Deliver occupational therapy to help patients regain independence.
• Collaborate with the rehab team and coordinate referrals as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers to promote independence and productivity.

Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will assess patient needs, develop their recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy.

You're a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.

You're equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. You know your goal is the design of a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence.

You're adaptable to the needs of the patient and can find joy in the variety of the work and the settings.

You're a teammate and are looking for collaboration with your peers, but you're also happy to make referrals to help your patient get the care they need to thrive.

Qualifications

• * They must have a Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
• * They must have initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• * The Occupational Therapist must hold a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.

Posted Salary Range

USD $40.00 - USD $55.00 /Hr.
