Job summary

Puget Sound Care, part of the Caldera Care family, is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a full-time role in Olympia, WA. The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a pay range of $50.00 - $57.00 per hour, DOE.

Responsibilities include providing professional clinical OT services, education, supervision, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support residents’ rehabilitation and well-being.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Washington OT license in good standing.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Specialize in content areas such as hand specialty, geriatrics, and rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional clinical occupational therapy services.
• Carry out education and training activities, clinical consultation, supervision, and administration.
• Demonstrate professional knowledge of occupational therapy theories and methodologies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams.

What you will do:

• Provide professional clinical services
• Carry out education and training activities, clinical consultation, supervision, and administration
• Demonstrate professional knowledge and skills in applying a wide range of theories, principles, and methodologies of occupational therapy
• Collaborate with other members of the Interdisciplinary treatment teams

Must have:

• Must have valid Washington OT license that is in good standing
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
• Specialize in content areas such as hand specialty ergonomics, blind/visual rehabilitation assistance technology, functional capacity examination, polytrauma, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, geriatrics, mental health, driver rehabilitation, home based primary care, etc.
