Occupational Therapist OT

Job Summary:

At Morristown Post Acute Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, we are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist OT to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their maximum functional potential and regain their independence. Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized occupational therapy plans for patients with a variety of diagnoses, including cardiac, orthopedic, renal, and pulmonary conditions
• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patients' strengths, weaknesses, and functional abilities
• Develop and implement tailored interventions to improve patients’ cognitive, physical, and emotional functioning
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and development of patient-centered treatment plans
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on occupational therapy techniques and strategies to promote independence and safety
• Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with regulatory guidelines and center policies
