Job summary

Manchester Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Manchester, TN seeks a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our rehab team. You will provide direct patient care, assess rehabilitation needs, and develop treatment plans under physician direction.

The role includes supervising OT Assistants and ensuring high standards of documentation and patient-centered care. The ideal candidate holds an Occupational Therapy degree, is licensed in the state, and has experience in long-term or geriatric

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Must hold a valid license and state registration.
• Oversee and supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants.
• Experience in long-term care and/or geriatric care preferred.
• Strong documentation skills and record-keeping.
• Experience with evaluations, progress notes, re-certification, discharge documentation.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Excellent patient service and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehab services and determine rehab potential.
• Develop and administer treatment plans with goals aligned to patient capacity.
• Document patient condition and progress; educate patients and families.
• Attend to scheduling and adhere to professional standards.
• Report to rehabilitation director and comply with confidentiality and rights.

Occupational Therapist -OT Full Time and PRN

Manchester Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is looking for a talented and hard-working Occupational Therapist to join our ever-growing team.

Responsibilities Include:

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for the assessment of referred patients that require rehabilitation services which includes: providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation. Also, the Occupational Therapist will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patients capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician. As well, the Occupational Therapist must set realistic and achievable goals for their patients, document and record the patients condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate therapy method.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must have graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapist college or university.
• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• The Occupational Therapist is responsible for overseeing and supervising Occupational Therapy Assistants.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not limited to.
• Well versed with documentation writing
• Evaluations, weekly progress notes, re-certification and discharge documentations.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.
• Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence
• Report to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation
• Compliance with confidentiality, HIPPA and Federal Residents Rights.
