Job summary

Manchester Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in a full‑time and PRN capacity. The OT will assess referred patients, develop treatment plans under physician direction, and educate patients and families in therapy methods.

The role requires graduation from an accredited OT program, current licensure, and experience in long-term or geriatric care, with supervision of OT Assistants and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapist college or university.
• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Overseeing and supervising Occupational Therapy Assistants.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not limited to.
• Well versed with documentation writing
• Evaluations, weekly progress notes, re-certification and discharge documentations.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients to determine rehabilitation needs and potential.
• Establish and administer treatment programs with goals aligned to patient capacity.
• Set realistic goals, document patient condition, and educate patients/families in therapy methods.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Perform all duties assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation with professionalism.

Occupational Therapist -OT Full Time and PRN

Manchester Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is looking for a talented and hard-working Occupational Therapist to join our ever-growing team.

Responsibilities Include:

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for the assessment of referred patients that require rehabilitation services which includes: providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation. Also, the Occupational Therapist will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patients capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician. As well, the Occupational Therapist must set realistic and achievable goals for their patients, document and record the patients condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate therapy method.
