Job summary

Aston Group is seeking a compassionate, licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility rehabilitation team in Florida. The OT will assess residents, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy to promote independence and safety.

Responsibilities include ADL-focused therapy, progress monitoring, documentation for Medicare compliance, and participation in discharge planning. Supervisory duties for COTAs may apply; strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

  • Licensed OT in Florida (current)
  • Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred
  • Knowledge of geriatric rehabilitation and Medicare regulations
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

  • Supervise COTAs as applicable.

Full Time

We are seeking a compassionate and licensed Certified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility rehabilitation team. The Occupational Therapist evaluates residents, develops individualized treatment plans, and provides occupational therapy services to promote independence, safety, and improved quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
  • Provide therapy focused on ADLs, functional mobility, strength, coordination, cognition, and safety.
  • Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation in compliance with Medicare and facility guidelines.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning.
  • Supervise COTAs as applicable.
  • Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques and equipment.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
Qualifications
  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current OT license in good standing in the state of Florida.
  • Skilled nursing or long‑term care experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of geriatric rehabilitation and Medicare regulations.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
