Job summary

Powerback Rehab in Red Rocks Center, Gallup, NM, is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our in-facility rehab team. You will assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy to help patients regain function.

You will act as a teacher to patients and caregivers, promote independence, and collaborate with a supportive team while growing with a trusted provider in the long-term care space.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Initial registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Valid and unencumbered OT license as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop recovery plans; deliver occupational therapy.
• Design programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance independence.
• Collaborate with teammates and refer to other care as needed for patient thrive.
• Educate patients and caregivers to promote independence and productivity.
• Contribute to a caregiver-supportive, patient-centered care environment.

Qualifications

• They must have a Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
• They must have initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• The Occupational Therapist must hold a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.

Posted Salary Range: USD $40.00 - USD $55.00 /Hr.
