Job summary

Ashton North LLC in Ohio is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a community-focused rehabilitation center. The role spans inpatient and pediatric settings with a 50/50 split, emphasizing patient-first care and collaborative teamwork.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, 40 hours weekly, with a $20,000 sign-on bonus and a compensatory range of $38–$49 per hour. Weekend coverage is not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Occupational Therapy from ACOTE-accredited program.
• Current Ohio OT license (active).
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience across inpatient and pediatric settings.
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
• Commitment to patient safety and standards.
• Ability to work variable days/hours.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care.
• Deliver high-quality OT to help patients achieve maximum functional outcomes.
• Provide care across neonate to geriatric populations.
• Treat orthopedic and neurological conditions in inpatient and pediatric settings (50/50).
• Supervise Certified OT Assistants (COTAs) and OT students.
• Ensure compliance with standards, payer regulations, and facility policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Support daily operations and data collection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care
• Deliver high-quality occupational therapy to help patients achieve maximum functional outcomes
• Provide care across the full age spectrum — neonate through geriatric
• Treat orthopedic and neurological conditions in both inpatient and pediatric settings (50/50 split)
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and OT students
• Ensure ongoing compliance with standards of practice, payer regulations, and facility policies
• Apply critical thinking to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
• Maintain professional, courteous communication and customer service
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare team members and departments
• Support daily operations and data collection within the medical fitness center

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program
• Current, active Ohio Occupational Therapist license (required)
• Current CPR certification (required)
• Strong working knowledge of OT practices across inpatient and pediatric settings
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and multitasking skills
• Commitment to patient safety and professional standards of practice
• Ability to work variable days and hours as needed
