Job summary

Therapy & Beyond is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver clinic-based therapy to pediatric and adolescent clients on-site at our Fort Worth facility. The role involves 1:1 30-minute sessions, collaboration with BCBA, SLP, and families, and direct data-driven care.

Compensation is per session with comprehensive benefits for full-time teammates. Texas licensure is required, and ASD experience is preferred to support developmental goals across therapy services.

Qualifications

  • Texas OT license is required.
  • Two years direct service experience preferred.
  • Experience with autism spectrum disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform clinical assessment; identify patient needs and goals.
  • Document and revise Plan of Care, progress notes, and records.
  • Assess ROM, strength, coordination; evaluate ADL needs.
  • Implement, monitor, collect and evaluate data.
  • Evaluate the efficiency of the treatment.
  • Demonstrate professional behavior at all times.
  • Competence with crisis intervention when needed.
  • Facilitate training for parents and staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Service patients in 30-minute, 1:1 OT sessions.

Job Description

TheOccupational Therapistposition is responsible for the direct implementation of therapy services within a clinic-based environment. This position will work closely with BCBAs, SLPs, and families to ensure that each patient in the organization receives quality therapeutic care!

This role will be compensated by session, and you will be supporting pediatric and adolescent clients on-site at ourFort Worthfacility.

  • Perform clinical assessment; identifypatient needs and target developmental goals
  • Document, prepare/revises, and complete a Plan of Care, progress notes, and other clinical record documentation on an ongoing basis
  • Assess and facilitatethe patient’s ROM, strength, coordination, need for and use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications, functional mobility, and safety issues as related to the patient’s ADL performance needs
  • Implement, monitor, collect and evaluate data.
  • Evaluate the efficiencyof the treatment
  • Demonstration of professional behavior
  • Competence with Crisis Intervention
  • Facilitateeffective training with parents and staff
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Service patients within 30 minute, 1:1 OT sessions

Qualifications
  • Current Texas State License as an Occupational Therapist
  • Two years of direct service work in a treatment setting for patients preferred
  • Experience working with individuals withAutismSpectrum Disorder (ASD)preferred
