Job summary

Apploi invites a compassionate, licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility rehabilitation team in Fort Myers, FL. The OT will evaluate residents, create individualized plans, and provide therapy to promote independence, safety, and improved quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current OT license in good standing in the state of Florida.
• Knowledge of geriatric rehabilitation and Medicare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide therapy focused on ADLs, functional mobility, strength, coordination, cognition, and safety.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in compliance with Medicare and facility guidelines.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning.
• Supervise COTAs as applicable.
• Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
