Job summary

Aston Group in Clearwater, FL is seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility rehabilitation team. The OT assesses residents, develops individualized treatment plans, and delivers therapy to promote independence and safety.

This full-time position requires a Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy and a Florida OT license in good standing. Experience in geriatric rehabilitation and Medicare guidelines is preferred, with strong communication

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Florida OT license in good standing.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of geriatric rehabilitation and Medicare regulations.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide therapy focused on ADLs, functional mobility, strength, coordination, cognition, and safety.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in compliance with Medicare and facility guidelines.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning.
• Supervise COTAs as applicable.
• Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.

Full Time

We are seeking a compassionate and licensed Certified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility rehabilitation team. The Occupational Therapist evaluates residents, develops individualized treatment plans, and provides occupational therapy services to promote independence, safety, and improved quality of life.
