Job summary

Opis-Senior-Services-Group in Florida is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. The OT evaluates residents, develops individualized plans, and provides therapy to promote independence, safety, and improved quality of life.

The role requires a Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy and a valid Florida OT license, with nursing facility experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
• Active Florida OT license in good standing.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare regulations.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide therapy focused on ADLs, functional mobility, strength, coordination, cognition, and safety.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in compliance with Medicare and facility guidelines.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning.
• Supervise COTAs as applicable.
• Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.

We are seeking a compassionate and licensed Certified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility rehabilitation team. The Occupational Therapist evaluates residents, develops individualized treatment plans, and provides occupational therapy services to promote independence, safety, and improved quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
