Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group in Downingtown, PA is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our full-time school-based team. You will work with students to develop functional, sensory, and motor skills to succeed in the classroom and beyond, collaborating with teachers, families, and other specialists.

The ideal candidate has a Master7s or Doctoral in OT, PA license, and experience with children; NBCOT is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist license.
• NBCOT certification preferred.
• PA Clearances.
• Experience working with children and adolescents preferred.
• School-based experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and educational goals.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services in individual and group settings.
• Support fine motor development, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, self-care, and functional life skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress monitoring.
• Maintain accurate documentation, treatment records, and progress reports.
• Recommend adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and therapeutic strategies to support student success.
