As an Occupational Therapist, you help patients get well by assessing needs, developing recovery plans, and delivering occupational therapy. You will design programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence. You will collaborate with peers and refer patients to ensure comprehensive care. You are also a teacher who can train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
• Certification: Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).

Salary: USD $39.01 - $42.87 per hour.
