Job summary

Renewal Rehab is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in Michigan. Provide comprehensive OT evaluations based on MD orders and develop treatment plans with goals and modalities, while ensuring required MD orders and documentation practices.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification recognized (OTR) if state mandated
• Current state licensure/registration as applicable

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OT evaluations based on physician orders.
• Document findings on standardized evaluation forms timely and accurately.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans with long- and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and modalities.
• Obtain MD orders for evaluations, treatments, recertifications and discharges.
• Deliver treatment to patients using modalities and modify as indicated while adhering to precautions.

What You'll Do

• Provide a comprehensive occupational therapy evaluation based on MD orders.
• Document findings on the standardized evaluation form timely, accurately and adhering to all guidelines.
• Provide a comprehensive treatment plan including long and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and treatment modalities.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for evaluations, treatments, recertifications and discharges.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients utilizing modalities and modify patient treatment as indicated while adhering to precautions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S.,MA, or M.S. or Doctorate in Occupational Therapythat the AOTA recognizes.
• Recognized by the NBCOT as a designated OTR (if state mandated)
• OT holds a current license and/or registration as an Occupational Therapist in-state as applicable.
