Job summary

SouthCoast Health is seeking a talented Occupational Therapist for the Outpatient Pediatric Rehab program in New Bedford, MA. This per diem role shifts Day/Evening with occasional weekends and holidays, with hours to be determined.

Candidates should hold a Massachusetts OT license, have a Bachelor's degree in OT, CPR certification, and ideally one year of pediatric experience. The position supports a commitment to community health and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Massachusetts License in Occupational Therapy is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• One year of experience is preferred.
• Vaccination: influenza and COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption signed statement may be required.

Responsibilities

• Under direction of Team Leader, Rehabilitation Services, perform diversified patient care within Rehabilitation Services Department.
• Support pediatric outpatient rehab patients and families as part of the care team.
• Maintain required licensure and CPR certification; participate in ongoing professional development.

Hours: Per Diem

Shift: Day/Evening shift with Weekend, holiday; Hours TBD

Location: Outpatient Pediatric Rehab - New Bedford, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Under direction of individually assigned Team Leader, Rehabilitation Services or designee, perform diversified patient care and related duties within the Rehabilitation Services Department.

• A Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.

• Current Massachusetts License in Occupational Therapy is required.

• One (1) year of experience is preferred.

• CPR certification required.
