Job summary

Revere Public Schools in Revere, MA seeks an Occupational Therapist for a one-year appointment to evaluate, plan, and deliver therapy to students with disabilities within a collaborative school setting.

You will develop IEP goals, conduct evaluations, provide individual and small group therapy, collaborate with teachers and families, and contribute to progress reporting. Minimum MA OT license; strong tech skills and effective communication required.

Qualifications

Job Description

Revere Public Schools is seeking an Occupational Therapist.

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations, interpret results, and develop recommendations, propose developmentally appropriate IEP goals, and participate in Team meetings.
  • Develop and deliver specially designed individual and small group occupational therapy for students with identified disabilities; monitor progress toward IEP goals, and collect data for progress reports.
  • Collaborate with school staff around screenings, tiered interventions, and accommodations for students across school settings.
  • Provide consultation services to parents/caregivers as needed.

Qualifications:

  • MA Board of Allied Health Professions license in Occupational Therapy.
  • Excellent computer/technology skills with the ability to utilize various computer software and app programs.
  • Committed to the vision of high expectations for achievement, equal access to high levels of instruction, the achievement of academic and linguistic proficiency for all students, and the closing of the opportunity gap
  • A self-reflective, active learner capable of interactive dialogue with all members of the school community.

Salary: $60,627 to $128,937 Per Year
