Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy and be eligible for California OT licensure upon hire.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement OT treatment plans for patients with physical impairments.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and authorize appropriate OT interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care across settings.
• Provide OT services across pediatric to older adult populations.

Description

The Occupational Therapist is a licensed professional who is responsible for maintaining standards of professional and ethical practice in accordance with regulatory agencies and the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). The Occupational Therapist demonstrates proficient clinical knowledge and skills in providing and initiating treatment programs for individuals with physical impairments. Utilizing a collaborative team approach, the Occupational therapist accurately assesses patients' needs: identifies and initiates appropriate Occupational therapy interventions. Providing care to: pediatric, adolescent, young, middle and older adult patients.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with certificate from an accredited program in Occupational Therapy, Or
• Upon hire: California Occupational Therapist License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree with certificate from an accredited program in Occupational Therapy
• Upon hire: CHT or HTC and PAM for all Hand Therapists
• 1 year experience in adult physical disability setting.

Pay Range: $48.79 - $75.74
