Job summary

NTMC is seeking an Occupational Therapist (NonExempt) for either part-time or full-time employment to evaluate, plan, direct, and administer OT interventions. The role aims to restore function and enable patients to live within their capabilities following injury or disability.

The successful candidate must graduate from an accredited OT program, hold an active Texas OT license, and maintain current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program
• Current licensure/certifications as an Occupational Therapist
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in Texas
• Current BLS certification

• Inpatient and Swing Bed Patient Caseload with occasional outpatient cases.

Description:
Seeking an OT that will be responsible for evaluating, discharging, planning, directing and administering of occupational therapy interventions of treatment. Administers treatments and physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability. Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and function level, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
Requirements:

• Must be graduate of an accredited occupational therapy school and have current licensure/certifications.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the State of Texas
• Current BLS certification.

Primary Focus:

• Inpatient and Swing Bed Patient Caseload with occasional outpatient cases.
