Baptist Health System is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for PRN daytime coverage. The OT will administer tests, interpret results, and plan individualized treatment programs, including NICU involvement where qualified.

PRN DAYS
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for the administration, interpretation and evaluation of tests and measurements. Plans and modifies treatment programs. Works with NICU patients with clinical competency, as applicable. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
Preferred Education: Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy
Minimum Experience: No previous work experience necessary. After completion of 3 full years/beginning of 4th year may be eligible for Occupational Therapist Level II.
Preferred Experience: Clinical experience in a variety of settings, Hand Therapy, Ergonomics, and marketing and business familiarity. Spanish proficiency.
Required Certifications/Licensure (New Graduates): Possession of current Texas State license prior to orientation. All Others: Possession of current Texas State license.
Required Courses/Completions: Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support (ARC or AHA) on hire; must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
