Job summary

Sevita, NeuroRestorative in Carbondale, IL, is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide residential, rehabilitation, and community-based services. You will perform assessments, lead group and individual therapy, supervise OT assistants, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for optimal participant outcomes.

Qualifications include a degree in OT, IL licensure or eligibility, and an interest in neuro-rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Licensed or license eligible in Illinois (DPR).
• Experience in neuro-rehabilitation preferred.
• Valid driver's license, registration and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess participants in residential, rehabilitation, and community settings.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans with the rehab team.
• Provide re-evaluation and caseload management.
• Guide and support occupational therapy assistants.
• Follow rehab plans and protocols and document progress.
• Maintain daily documentation of services for participants.
• Collaborate with physicians, staff, families, and community resources.
